| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Pours rather dark, thick white head. Tastes of dark roasted malt, coffee. Fizzy carbonation, refreshing. Yeast taste too much in the background in my opinion. A good Dunkelweizen but there are much better beers from this brewery. dkachur (2431), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Aroma of banana and chocolate. Taste is more of the same, with coffee sneaking in at the end. DownsouthGav (601), Greater London, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Nose of wheat, banana, malt and toffee. Pours a lovely caramel colour beer with a lofty head. Taste is a flurry of wheat, malt and hops. A bitter sweet finish make this a throughly enjoyable beer. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: Excessively well extracted dark malts. A fruity and shining beacon in the dunkelweizen world.

Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt and wheat with some toasty bready notes. Body starts fairly full and well-carbonated with some dark caramel malty sweetness and a hint of clove spice. Well-balanced and drinkable. brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Fantastic dunkel malt and banana ester aroma, probaly the best in this style I ’ve ever experienced ,like a banana under your nose while your in a chocolate bakery, taste is initial banana and rich dark German Malts, but the palate quickly diminishes to a sharp thin wheat taste, and finishes almost watery. The thinness haunts the beverage the rest of the glass, it chased my pizza nicely but it had such promise for more. A little higher OG bitte JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Stupendously huge beige head, slowly collapsing over totally opaque brown beer. Very creamy nose, with bananaester, but also milk chocolate, and wheat - slightly sourish-smelling. Dark, and dry malts, slight acidity (again typically wheadt), and fruity (near citrus). Finish is again creamy-fruity, and milk chocolate. Retronasal a touch of hops. Wheat slickness, medium bodied. Quality Weisse.
