Jan 30, 2008 Had this on tap at Andechser Am Dom, Weinstrasse, (near Cathedral), Munchen, Germany 25-01-08 The waiter seemed quite surpised and chuffed that I ordered this, having shown him my good beer guide to Germany and jabbing at the beer on the page, I could ask for the bill in German and order beer but this one I felt might confuse him and when I saw that they had this on, I felt that a good old fashioned pointing it out on the page might do the trick. The beer came to me looking rather murky brown with a light beige head. Some sweet malts and a tinge of sourness was all that I could detect on the aroma. This was a very fruity beer but with some touches of chocolate lingering in there along with sweet maltiness. Really tasty and rather nice.

Hazy, light-brown coloured, firm off-white head; malty nose, a tinge of vinous fruitiness; mild bitter flavour, milk-chocolatey taste; sweetish-malty finish; quite full-bodied. A well made, mild Dunkel, moreish.....
This seems to be the unfiltered version of the regular Dunkel; very hard to find....
