Fin (2188), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jan 30, 2008 Had this on tap at Andechser Am Dom, Weinstrasse, (near Cathedral), Munchen, Germany 25-01-08 The waiter seemed quite surpised and chuffed that I ordered this, having shown him my good beer guide to Germany and jabbing at the beer on the page, I could ask for the bill in German and order beer but this one I felt might confuse him and when I saw that they had this on, I felt that a good old fashioned pointing it out on the page might do the trick. The beer came to me looking rather murky brown with a light beige head. Some sweet malts and a tinge of sourness was all that I could detect on the aroma. This was a very fruity beer but with some touches of chocolate lingering in there along with sweet maltiness. Really tasty and rather nice. joss (3120), Garching b. München, Germany Mar 29, 2007 Tap on the mountain. Light coffeeish aroma
dark hazy chestnut color, low tanned head.
Toasted, choolate and vinous tastenotes.
Sollid wellagered mouthfeel pivnizub (3811), Porúří, Germany Oct 8, 2005 On tap at "Andechser am Dom", Munich:
Hazy, light-brown coloured, firm off-white head; malty nose, a tinge of vinous fruitiness; mild bitter flavour, milk-chocolatey taste; sweetish-malty finish; quite full-bodied. A well made, mild Dunkel, moreish.....
This seems to be the unfiltered version of the regular Dunkel; very hard to find....
