The hops have lost their touch on this beer. Still hoppy but just a little dissapointed considering they used 20 separate hop additions. I wish I could of had this fresh....I bet it was alot better. Still overall, not a bad DIPA at all baraciisch (156), USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Golden orange color... Almost a fruity aroma.. Flavor is sweet and flavorful with well balanced hoppiness... A little more bitter than the Dogfish 90 minute, but still very tasty... TomDecapolis (3218), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Tap at CAH. Pours a hazy orange with lots of golden notes and a small creamy off white head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, orange and floral hops. Various fruity notes with some bready and caramel malt to balance. Flavor of pine, grapefruit, really nice and hoppy. Malt backbone present with some dough, caramel, grains and cereal. Medium hop bitterness. adrian910ss (1436), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of tangy citrus, buttery caramel malts and light floral hops. Taste of tangy citrus, caramel malts, and light floral hops. Rciesla (3880), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a medium orange body with a one finger white head. Hop floral citrus notes some earthy bitterness. Decent IPA. lordeche (397), Quincy, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Pours a fairly thick slightly dark copper. Aroma is a bit strange- some vanilla, some oak, caramel malt, some slight citrus and some rice-wine notes. Flavor also contains that rice-wine and some subtle grapefruit in the back that is actually quite nice. Kinda could see this being a Hitachino brew. Fairly unique at the very least, but certainly not one of my favorite doubles. Creamy palate. GreatLibations (1454), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 18, 2009 Pours golden with a bit of amber. A lofty head lingers like cobwebs in a tool shed. Aromas of citrus rind yet mild. Full nectar with almost no effers. Things flat. This really takes away as this brew is on the sweet side of the malt spectrum. I’m picking up on a celery plug nuance that also discourages. Tough hopsy switchblades cut through the fat and scar the palate. The finish lingers with caramel and a citrus acid burn. thornecb (1814), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2009 Pours deep amber into a tulip. Bright white head recedes leaving no lacing. Grapefruit and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and vanilla upfront turning to an alcohol and resin lasting finish.
