22oz bottle. fairly recently bottled. pours bright copper with white head. aroma mild grapefruity and fusel alcohol notes. flavors are grapefruit, pine, biscuit, caramel, good bitterness but an alcohol sweet finish. decent, not really double ipa worthy, just really not well executed.

22oz bottle, no date. Clear orange copper with a two finger light yellowish head, pretty good retention. Tangerine and floral hops up front with a plenty of caramel malts to back it all. There is even a bit of resiny pine.Flavor is resiny pine again and tangerine dominating with quite a bit of bitterness, try as the ample sweet caramel malts may. Bitterness peaked at a 6-7 in the dry finish--some alcohol warmth is present. Low to moderate carbonation with a full body. Not the best DIPA I’ve had, but certainly not the worst--not as bad as what I’d been hearing about this brew.

Courtesy Oakes @ Merritt Island Throwdown. Clear coper color, sparse thin white head. Stiff floral hop aroma, not overly intense but still pleasing. More aggressive with the hops on the taste, with a slight peppery edge aiding the floral characters. Mild lingering hop finish. Tastes better than it smells.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of small suspended floaters. Aromas of ctirus, toasted malts, and floral. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and some pine. Medium alcohol burn in the finish.

Bomber. Pours clear dark gold, with a thick and lacy off-white head. Fruit and a bit of grapefruit in the nose. Kinda light on the aroma, not in the "I can hardly wait to taste this" league. Medium-full body and light carbonation. Some caramel and fruit in the taste. Pine-bitter and flowery finish. I could do with more citrus from beginning to end. My wife tried a sip. Her verdict: "Stinky, with a bad aftertaste." But that’s her verdict on many IPAs.

Bottle. A hazy golden amber color with a white head. A citrus, grapefruit, strong pine and caramel aroma. Intensely bitter with a liquid hop feel. Slightly sweet with a dry pine finish. Quite nice and full bodied with a good malt profile

I was pretty excited for this brew. With that stated, I was rather unimpressed. Aroma of light grapefruit, inky florals, and cat pee. Pours a nice golden amber color with a nice lasting head. . Flavors of some pretty sweet toffee and caramel, pine, inky florals, and more litter box - if it tastes like it smells. Something was odd here and it seemed a little out of whack. I know there was more malt than I usually like in my IIPA’s, but that was not it. Oh well.

Bottle: Golden orange color with a nice sandy head. Aroma is sweet and caramel filled with some citrus hops. Lots of sweetness in the flavor profile; plenty of caramel. The hops are not playing much of a prominent role. Thanks to Buckdich for sharing this anniv. ale treat.
