| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Medium orange amber, decent head. Aroma was bitter citric hops. Flavor was very, very bitter, just a faint hint of biscuit malt, and much less hop flavor than I would have expected, just a bit of pine and citrus. Too bad, I was looking forward to trying this. Thinner than I wanted, bitterness out of balance with the rest of the beer, and the hops didn’t shine. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2009 Draft at Craft Ale House. Poured deep golden with dark straw edges and off-white head. Nose was heavy tangerine, pineapple, some juicy hops, mild breadiness. Palate was medium heft, with hefty tropical fruity hops, but I noted a lack of malt bill that served to slightly unbalance this one. I had this after a Green Flash IPA, and the Green Flash blew it away. Then again, Green Flash IPA blows away most IPAs, so that’s not surprising. A good, but not great beer. argo0 (6969), Washington DC, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Bottle. Nice hops nose on it. Clearish red in color, decent head. Taste is malty and sugary. The hops have lost their touch on this beer. Still hoppy but just a little dissapointed considering they used 20 separate hop additions. I wish I could of had this fresh....I bet it was alot better. Still overall, not a bad DIPA at all baraciisch (140), USA
