Oct 15, 2006 Pours a deep, thick, black with nice tan head. Aroma is mild but nice, with chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor follows suit, with chocolate and coffee, with both sweet and burnt notes, ending with just a little hop bite. A good oatemal stout overall.

Oct 11, 2006 A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of roasted malt, but also lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of roasted malt, but also notes of coffee, leading to a dry woody end.

Oct 10, 2006 This has a thin body for a stout. It is very easy to tell that the malt is not just roasted but it is burnt giving a strong coffee flavor. The hop accomedate the burnt flavor very well.

Oct 8, 2006 12oz bottle poured almost black in color with a nice tan head. The aroma was roast and chocolate with some small amounts of hops presant. The taste was nice and rich with a good amount of bitterness and a good hoppy finish. Overall a very nice and flavorfull stout.
