Poured amber (imagine that) with a bit of orange on the rim. Nose is a bit subdued, but I get some caramel and a bit of citrus. Good hops in the body, once again the caramel and possibly a touch of vanilla show their face and it is then gone in the soft body. A decent beer. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Weak malty aroma. The flavor was caramel malts with some mild hop bitterness in the finish. Flavor got slightly richer as it warmed, but still not really strong. Dry mouthfeel. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Light amber colored ale with a dense off-white head that fades pretty quickly, smells mostly of hopswith an undertone of caramel, tastes pretty fruity, apricot and maybe tangerine, really this is straddling the line between an American pale and an amber. Quite a bit of carbonation but fairly smooth feel. A little hop citrus flavor on the finish. Just a small bit of bitterness. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Maybe I didn’t drink it in the right circumstances or something, but overall for me it tasted like a pretty standard amber ale. Nothing really to complain about though... Malty, somewhat sweet aroma with a more or less simple taste. Goes down smooth and is easy to drink many of. jeremytoni (1122), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
