| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Poured an amber color with a very small amount of head. Carmal malts dominated the taste of this beer. I’m usually a big fan of malty beers, but this one lacked a little body. Easy on the palate and would probably drink again. timfoolery (484), California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Updated: Feb 26, 2009650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent amber-copper color. The head is big, off-white, and sudsy leaving plenty of lacing as it slowly fades. The aroma is a bit understated with notes of spices, caramel and pecans. The taste centers on roasted malts with plenty of biscuit filling out the sides. There is a fair amount of biter hops filling in the back end and giving the ale a bit on a pale ale character. The mouthfeel is uneven with this ale starting out a bit thin and then developing into a fairly full and smooth experience. The finish is long and slightly sweet. Overall: This is a rather enjoyable amber ale. Recommended. kyzr (1127), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Bottle pour, darker amber, with nice off-white head. Nutty, hoppy and caramel nose. Flavor is hoppy, yet controled by the roasted malt and higher sugars. Finish is dry and clean.
