Bottle from Flying Saucer Fort Worth. Very nutty, roasted aroma, but something is a little off. Taste is nuts, malts, and that same off flavor. Smooth and creamy.

Pretty thick rosy color. Grain upfront on the nose followed by dark fruits and some amount of must. Taste has a dry grain feel with a feeling of red grapes. Finishes bready but without distaste. A nice amber from a company who has yet to let me down.

Old-school amber that’s a little maltier and sweeter than I’d like. The low-hop quotient makes that more obvious. However I remember drinking a whole lot of this when I was younger and less demanding.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2009) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of orange, caramel and crystal malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange, caramel, grainy malt and citrussy hops in a finish with balanced bitterness. Medium body, a touch of malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced.

Nice fruity aroma of citrus hops. Poured a good looking deep golden orange. Flavors of sweet citrus hops with a slightly dry finish. A very tasty Amber Ale.

Bottle... Poured a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of a creme brulee, sugary sweetness and malts. Palate was mildly dry with a nice carbonation. Hops were, present for balancing but didn’t influence the flavor all that much. Citrus fruits and a sweet, toasty malt dominance.

Pours a nice dark amber with loads of lacey head taht overflows. Pleasant malty aroma. Easy drinker, lightly hopped.

On tap @ Oldsmar Tap House. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is malt, some pine hops, and some breadiness. Flavor is about the same with some malt, hops, and water. Not bad, but not exceptional. Good beer to start the night with.
