On tap at Flying Pie Boise, Pours out a clear amber topped with a great off white head. Very nice tast of light hops and malt. Also picked up a little sweeytness.

Great amber ale. It was recommeded to me by a bartender at The Yard House. I would definitely try this brew again.

(Re-rate 9-28-07) Intersting mix of hops and malt. Thick brown amber - caramel color. Very foamy head. Heavier on the palate than I thought it would be, quite thick Hops taste that is fairly good. Nice rich and smooth finish.

Pours amber into the glass, with a medium head and cotton-candy lace. Mostly bready nose, with trace caramel and toffee notes. The flavors are of light caramel malts, copper, light biscuits, and finishes with a bit of a pale, biscuity, spiced hops. Light bitters on the end match the satiating yet light mouthfeel. Sweetens as it warms, and the body is round but not heavy. Offers a decent pull.

a good bitter. broomstraw taste nicely bitter with a clean finish. there is a nice german bitter with a grapefruit hidden flavor that works quite well! good carbonation and creamy yet effervesent enough. malt and hop characters conspire adequately.

Pours a dark caramel color with a nice off white head. Smell at first is of mostly hops and a touch of caramel like sweetness. A very nice balanced smell. Taste is definitely more malty at first and overall tastes nice, and balanced. As it warms, the mild hop flavor dissipates somewhat and becomes more of a backdrop to the big caramel creamy taste. Definitely changes as it warms a bit. Overall a good rich amber.
