| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2007 pours a somewhat cloudy amber with a one finger fluffy off white head. aroma is of light grain, malt, and a touch of hops, yeast, and alcohol. has a light to medium body with small lacing and carbonation. flavor is malt touch of yeast, hops, grain and alcohol. has a small dry hop aftertaste. it is a slightly above average amber. has a small carbonation bite and i think it is a descent session ale i guess. some caramel shines through in the aroma and flavor as it warms. i went from a 5 to a 6 on both and is a little sticky on the lips. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Pours predictably amber with a tan head. The aroma has some smooth roasted malt, light spice, buttiness and a light amount of fruit. Medium body with mouth filling sharp carbonation. Flavor starts off with lightly roaste malt, some nuttiness and some diacetyl - but not as bad as many out there. The finish seems a bit spicy, but it could be all of the sharp carbonation. There is an astringency that just lingers around for far too long. Not a very good beer from a generally top notch brewery. bhensonb (4342), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Caramel malt aroma. Clear amber color with a very frothy beige head. A bit thin. Reasonably malty, maybe caramelly. I agree that smooth it is. I think there is some hop, but maybe I am imagining that. Creamy smooth finish. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Oh another great anderson valley brew. Pours with a frothy head that slowly goes down. Appearance is red brown with a little cloud to it. Mouthfeel is beyond smooth, there is no bitter aftertaste just a nice sweet carmel flavor. A super smooth brew that is always enjoyable. gunnfryd (3601), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2007 I like Anderson Valley beers, and Boont is kinda like a staple. It’s got a somewhat sweet maltiness to it, and the hops are mildly fruity. Overall a good beer, but I don’t think it really shines in any particular area.
