May 1, 2006 This had a good head.slight aroma.color dark amber.Flavor was pretty much like the winter solstice ,but with the dominate flavor turned down.This is more drinkable than the winter solstice version.I can only drink 1 at a time of that.This is a good beer,but so far I like their Esb better.

Apr 24, 2006 Nice amber/red color with a decent lasting head. Taste is full of fruitiness, caramels, malts, citrus, and mild hoppiness. Lots of character in this brew, but it retains a evenly balanced flavor.

Apr 19, 2006 Bomber poured a hazy amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel, pine and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthy and a hint of pine with a smooth lingering mildly bitter finish.

Apr 16, 2006 A very good amber ale. Pours a medium amber color, with a light amber color head. Much smoother than I was expecting.....very nice.

Apr 3, 2006 Tanned honey color. Pours minimal froth w/ ample residual effers. Medium nectar. Has a slight hoppy character that nestles right in there with the bright malt flavors. Has a mellow bitterness. Quite complex.

Mar 27, 2006 12 oz Bottle: Pours an orange, almost pinkish in color. A nice just off-white head that starts out nearly an nich tall, but quickly fades into a ring around the outside. The aroma is a little sweet banana, spice/pepper, hops, pine ... overall quite nice aroma. Flavor is kind of sweet and weak. Some lemon, pine, a little hops, a fairly signifigant malts presense. also a signifigant finish of something I can’t quite put my finger on maybe biscuty/hoppy. Its not a great powerful flavor thats complex but nice and pleasant. A tasty amber- a highly underrated style imo.

Mar 26, 2006 Pours amber with a two-finger off-white head. The first aroma that hits me is an odd one: rosemary, and a good deal of it. Upon second inspection it seems to be the sweetness of caramel malt mixing with the spiciness of the hops. Interesting effect. The same thing happens in the flavor; the malt and hops just blend that well. That said, the beginning is rather bland. All the flavor comes in toward the middle and doesn’t stick around very long. Light spicy hops on the finish. Very drinkable.
