Nice mouthfeel with a good, balenced amount of hops. Slightly sweet and bitter. Very complex. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

Aroma is sweet, fruit, which i cant pick out specifically, Flavor is grassy hops, and sweet malt, very "earthy".

It is even better if you are lucky enough to find it on tap. I really can not say enough about anderson valley brewing company, they make some of the best beers in the world. As a homebrewer , this is the kind of beer I strive to make. Just feels really great in the mouth, excellent CLEAN taste. You can feel the love in this beer. Loads of flavor and none of them bad. malty (12), North Carolina, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Another favorite from Anderson Valley. Deep amber with an off white head. Malty palate, subltle hop flavoring and aroma. An excellent example of the style, and very drinkable. Since it’s not overpowering in its own right, it serves well with a meal.
