This is a great session amber, nothing outstanding or poor about this beer. Very drinkable and balanced, with just a shade of hoppy bitterness coming through in the finish, with bready caramel malts showing there way as well.

Nice brown color when poured. Light creamy foam, but very faint. Nose isn’t too heavy, but doesn’t lack character either. Hints of bread and malt. Tasty and defintily a well deserved amber.

12oz bottle. Very drinkable amber ale. Nothing out of the ordinary though it is well done.

Pours clear amber with copper edges and thin white head. The aroma is sweet with crystal malts and caramel and little else. The flavor is on the rich side with caramel mixing with sweet 60L and also a bit of 90L crystal malts. Into the finish a thin layer of toffee is revealed. Pretty tasty. I’m remember really enjoying this beer back in the early to mid 90’s.

pours a semi-hazy amber-orange with a medium yellowish head, and good lacing. smell of caramel, cotton candy, some nuts, a little malt, and some hops. taste is dry, sourish, malt, some caramel, and a little nuts, ends on the dry side and a little bitter.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a very nice looking amber with creamy beige head. Aroma of some caramel, nuts, a little pepper. Flavor of caramel, nuts, peppery hops that also show signs of pine, some toast, some bitterness. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, it’s a pretty enjoyable, tasty brew, interesting how this beer comes together....I’m glad this made it to Texas!

A fine amber. Dark amber with a big long lasting head. Nice malt up front with the bitterness in the back. Very crisp and clean finish.

My bottle was not good at all. It may be that I had just finished a Belgian double, but this one just doesn’t stnad up. Have to rate it thumbs down.
