Very drinkable and balanced, with just a shade of hoppy bitterness coming through in the finish, with bready caramel malts showing there way as well. dimenhetfield (202), , Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Nice brown color when poured. Light creamy foam, but very faint. Nose isn’t too heavy, but doesn’t lack character either. Hints of bread and malt. Tasty and defintily a well deserved amber. BroSpud (612), , Massachusetts, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Pours clear amber with copper edges and thin white head. The aroma is sweet with crystal malts and caramel and little else. The flavor is on the rich side with caramel mixing with sweet 60L and also a bit of 90L crystal malts. Into the finish a thin layer of toffee is revealed. Pretty tasty. I’m remember really enjoying this beer back in the early to mid 90’s. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA
