Aromas were very fruity/citrusy. Flavors were nice with some caramel and some hoppy bitterness. Not bad for an Amber.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber, thin head, and very little lacing. Somewhat of a weird sweet-tart/fruity nose, I’ve had this beer before and I’m not sure if it should taste like that. Peach and fruitiness with notes of toffee. Thin/medium bodied, very bubbly. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2005 Poured reddish amber with a solid tan head. Pretty descnt head retention. Smell had caramel, peach and courant. The courant and caramel made the taste really nice. Certainly a good beer. FoolishMortal (965), San Diego, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Auburn amber with a medium sized fluffy white head. Sweet slightly toasty malt aroma with some floral hop backbone. Very caramelly, some deep resinous hop character that is especially evident in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat smooth. mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2005 Hazy amber pour with an orange tint. Just a little well-retained off-white head on there. Piney hops were paired with a nice caramel sweetness in the aroma. Floral hops were well-balanced with caramel and faint peaches in the flavor. Nice and creamy mouthfeel. Sweet caramel finish. One of the better and more complex ambers that I have come across.
