Nothing spectacular in flavor, slight hops and sweetness, but overall found it very drinkable. npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2005 It poured an amber color. Orange like head, that did not last.Hop, malt, and Sweet scent. This was quite nice for a pale ale. I looked hard and found some caramel in nose and taste. A bit watery. spkldhenlvr24 (466), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2005 Good amber. On tap at Coles. Deep amber, orange body with a thick white head. Some good hoppy, malty scents. Roasted malty, slight hoppy flavor. I expected more from this. Solid beer. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2005 Draught @ Brouwer’s Cafe pours a vibrant amber, nice white foamy head, beautiful lacing, with lively carbonation. Malty nose, slightly sweet, perhaps faint biscuit. Not much hop presense. Smooth malts on the tongue, sweet, with a very subtle hop background. Very easy to drink. Not terribly thick on the palate. Finishes very light, with an ever so slight nut & vegetable twang.  Decent.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 2, 2005 This was originally suggested to me by a barkeep at a local pub. I’ve been grateful ever since. An orangey-amber body with sweet tones nicely balanced by the hops. Nutty flavors, but also nicely malty and just all around tasty.
