bottle from brickskeller. aroma: malt, with some mild aromatic hops present. looks: clear amber. flavor: caramel malt is dominant, with a slightly sweet finish. a stellar amber, but definitely on the sweeter side than others.

Decent looking, with a nice amber color and white head. Lots of carbonation. Nothing spectacular in flavor, slight hops and sweetness, but overall found it very drinkable.

Cloudy red/amber, decent sized white head. Sweet nose--cream and honey. Fairly thin flavor, some musty malt, dry nutty bitterness.

It poured an amber color. Orange like head, that did not last.Hop, malt, and Sweet scent. This was quite nice for a pale ale. I looked hard and found some caramel in nose and taste. A bit watery.

Good amber. On tap at Coles. Deep amber, orange body with a thick white head. Some good hoppy, malty scents. Roasted malty, slight hoppy flavor. I expected more from this. Solid beer.

Draught @ Brouwer’s Cafe pours a vibrant amber, nice white foamy head, beautiful lacing, with lively carbonation.   Malty nose, slightly sweet, perhaps faint biscuit.   Not much hop presense.   Smooth malts on the tongue, sweet, with a very subtle hop background.   Very easy to drink.   Not terribly thick on the palate.   Finishes very light, with an ever so slight nut & vegetable twang.  Decent.

This was originally suggested to me by a barkeep at a local pub. I’ve been grateful ever since. An orangey-amber body with sweet tones nicely balanced by the hops. Nutty flavors, but also nicely malty and just all around tasty.
