(Bottle) Smells floral, tastes like evergreens; slightly less sweet than one might expect from the aroma, but still just sweet enough. Strong malty tones. Smooth and delicious. I always enjoy this one when I'm in California.

Bottle - nice malty, spicy aroma. Beautiful color - truly amber. Delicious malty flavor with soft sprucy hops. Man, this is a delicious amber!

[bottle] Pours a cloudy orange/amber color with a thin white head and good lacing. Has some sediment at the bottom, most likely malt. Aroma is a nice balance of hops, malt and caramelly sweetness. Roasted taste that has a wonderful hop and malt balance with a touch of sweetness at the end and warms all the way down.

Another very easily drinkable beer. Nicely bittered and balanced. Nothing over the top. Perhaps a bit on the high end in price to be an every day beer, but other than that (and no longer being available here) I could see drinking this by the case.

Murky copper body with a large beige head. Malt and caramel aroma. Some fruit and a slight tang to the flavor. A good beer. Anderson Valley has a few good ones.

Pours a deep amber in colorm with a small off-white head. Flavors of malt that is crisp and clean. A decent amber ale that is better than most, yet is nothing outstanding.

Amber/copper coloring with a cream colored head. Aroma is light sweet malt and a faint citrus hops. Flavor starts out malty and is then accented by a very faint citrus hops. Aftertaste is a mild tea leaf like bitterness.
