| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Ok....this is an Amber Ale right? Well why do I immediately get oatmeal on the nose? Interesting! Loads of blueberry and vanilla cream too! Touches the tongue sweet then immediately turns sharp and just as soon fades to smooth and creamy with a definitive taste and mouth coating of caramel. Candy floss in mid-palate then a light fade where I caught a hint of celery hiding!
Generous head and light carbonation. Pretty good stuff! nickd717 (1389), Palo Alto, California, USA
