Oct 7, 2005 Bottle. Copper color with a average creamy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Good aroma of malt and hops. Medium body with a dry texture. Moderate bitter flavor with a light bitter finish of average duration. Good brew.

Oct 5, 2005 Thanks to elnadeau for this one. Pours a rich copper color with a fluffy moderate head. Nice hoppy nose that starts with caramel and vanilla and fades into some metallic notes. Mouth is full feeling and quite bitter, leaving a layer of grapefruit zest and pith on the upper mouth and tongue. Dry roasty notes are also present. A quite good beer, I think a bit more sweetness would provide for better balance.

Sep 28, 2005 Pours light amber with a foamy white head. Good lacing and good head retention. Aroma had citrus, grain, courant and graitfruit. The courant was very nice in the taste. The carbonation was too much and made it a little difficult to drink. The courant in the taste was effective mixed with the citrus, caramel and graitfruit. Not an easy one on the palate because of the carbonation. ESBs are not my favorite style, but this was pretty good.

Sep 23, 2005 Picked up the 22 oz bomber at the Liquor Barn in Redding, Ca. and it survived the plane ride back home. Pours a brightly colored medium orange and is quite murky. Head is tight, yet fluffy, white in color and leaves a fair amount of lacing. Fresh, fruity aroma, pick up some nectarines in there. Very full flavored - wtih hints of maple syrup, citrus, and a little bit of caramel. Finished with just a hint of mint. Oily, yet creamy mouthfeel - coats your tonque. Very good ESB.

Sep 20, 2005 At first a fruity whiff, ok head, fluffy at first but disapaited quickly. Hazy amber. Delicious nutty taste. Could be a little more bitter, for all the hops you get.

Sep 20, 2005 Nice west coast ESB. Nicely bitter, lightly sweet. Grainy malt aroma. A little lemony bitter in the high palate. Had a lingering citrus-bitter aftertaste which was a bit boozy. A good mouthfeel. Fun label, gold-brown beer, nice rafting tan seafoam head.

Sep 16, 2005 12 oz bottle - Pours amber with a fair white foamy head that laces well. Aroma of light floral hops and a bit of frosted flakes. Flavor is much the same with a nice caramel background. Fairly balanced on the palate and somewhat oily. Pretty decent bitter finish. This is a nice session brew and an easy drinker.

Sep 13, 2005 This is a great ESB, one of the best I have had recently. A perfect amount of hops with a little bit of sweetness. A great session beer.
