Pours a pale copper with a lasting head and nice lacing and a light ginger-ale aroma. Tastes of anglo-hops with pale malt with a hint of butter and a light toastiness. Plenty of carbonation. I’m really not sure about this one - not enough crystal malt for my ESB expectations. One-dimensional cheap hopping, is this Goldings? Still marked as "Belk’s ESB". Hmmm.

Pours a bit copperish with a thin cream colored head. The nose is bland and very English in malt and subtle hop. The flavor is the same with a decent dry finish. Decent mouthfeel.

has a hoppy, peppery, toasty aroma. pours a very english ESB copper/gold color, a little hazy. has a very hearty flavor with peppery hops, sweetish malts and a thick mouthfeel. alcohol evident but not obtrusive. just lets you know you’re drinking a big boy beer. thick with enough carbo to keep it from being too creamy or heavy. nice bitter finish on this one. a winner in my book. i wish more west coast breweries would make ESB style beers.

A Mes rate: bottle at GBBF.
Superb bright amber with a good white head. Lovely creamy malt aroma with decent earthy notes and a good hoppy topping. Flavour wise it’s not even close to an ESB but it’s certainly tasty. A good, well balanced all rounder and really enjoyable. Straight down the line but everything it does, it does well.

Bottle at GBBF 08. Copper clear colour. Overly peppery hoppy beer. Candy sugar sweet aroma too. Cor, that’s just a bit empty and not great. Too bitter.

Filled with malt and hops. Hits you right away, with the aroma and taste. Nothing spectacular. Hoppy bite and lingering aftertaste. Alrighty then
