Draft @ AVBC, Boonville, CA. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a malty yeasty spicy aroma with hints of ripe fruit. Malty spicy yeasty flavor with hints of dark fruit and chocolate. Has a sweetish spicy yeasty dark fruit finish.

Pours brown with ruby edges. Aromas of sweet belgian malts, yeast, and ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet caramel, sugary with spicy notes and a little bit of ripe fruit.

Pour is a brown with an almost flat tan head. Aroma is super sweet with some dark fruit and alcohol. Flavor is some dark fruit with brown sugar and a warming alcohol. A good beer but just ok for the style as there is nothing jumping out at me that would put this over in the excellent category.

A pretty classic dubble with all the usual suspects, lots of yeast flavor with dark fruits, raisin, plum, etc. It’s a tad overly sweet for my tastes, but good.

22oz bottle served in a chalice. Poured a dark copper with a thin tan head. Plenty of carbonation. Fruity spicy aroma. Medium bodied with a rich mouthfeel. Dark sugar and fruit flavors with a little bit of spice. I found this to be lacking when compared with a Belgian rendition as well as many American versions.

Pours deep reddish brown with a halo of a tan head. Nose is rich with fruit and caramel, also present is toffee and almost a cotton candy influence. Flavor has some spice notes along with fruit and caramel. Not as enjoyable as the nose, but decent.
