Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Tap. Pours golden amber w/ little head. Sweet but thin for this style. Enjoyed, especially coming from the East coast we don’t get many offerings.

Light amber pour with off-white head. Sweet nose, with some dried fruit. Flavor was sugary sweet, with hints of dried fruit. Didn’t get the warmth of a 10% ale, just kind of snuck up on you. Finish was somewhat creamy.

Pours dark golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Aroma of honey, fruity syrup, and estery notes of peach and apricot. A bit unbalanced and underattenuated. Sweet and fruity with syrupy notes, apricot, honey. Mouthfeel is full bodied and sticky with moderate carbonation. A bit heavy and blugeony.

My first Triple Beer: Sweet honey, fruity aroma with mild spicy and woody notes. Mainly clear orange/amber with shy white head that diminishes immediately to ring. Dried apricots, mild sugar, a hint of raisins, in the falvour with alcohol very apparent in the lightly spicy, peppery finish. Medium body though somewhat bland in the mouth with mild alcohol warming.

Bottle. Pours a golden amber with small quickly disappearing soap bubble style head. Aroma was very good, light fruits, spice, and a bit of bread. The flavor was much similar, with the fruits prevailing in the beginning and the spice and yeast peaking through. This is what saves this beer. The finish is an alcohol fruit affair, with the alcohol taking the role of the alpha male. The mouthfeel is a bit thin for this style, but still decent. Overall a very decent tripel. Although it seemed very young and rough around the edges.

Pours clear golden color with quickly disappearing head. Fruity aroma with hints of pepper. Taste of yeast, spice, and lots of alcohol

Bomber. Poured clear, coppery amber with a short, but well-retained cap of white head. The aroma was very fragrant and sharp, with ligher, greener fruits, white pepper, and corinder spicage.. all amplified by a significant alcohol presence (that got away and tried to steal the show at times). The flavor began with a kick from peppery spices/yeast and lemon zest on the tip of the tongue.. sweet pears, green apple, and cherry dust settle over the middle of the palate.. warm alcohol, light fruits, and spices ride through the warm finish. Medium-heavier bodied on the palate with low carbonation that worked quite well here.. spicy and fairly well-balanced, but overt alcohol notes got in the way in a few places. A middle of the road tripel.
