Taste is of some banana, bubble gum-candy, ends in bitter raisin. Sugar is not balanced well, and alcohol is annoyingly present. Finish is spicy dry alcohol that leaves the mouth puckering in an unpleasant way. Decent enough to drink, but I’m not an expert on Belgians, and I have a feeling some natives would be offended by this. Just OK. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 14, 2007 One of my favorite beers to date. Pours a dark golden color and is one of the smoothest beers I’ve ever had. A little sweet, but not too sweet. Malts were excellent. timfoolery (484), California, USA

Almost smells and aftertastes of apple cider. Like I said, a very smooth beer, but also very full of flavor. You can tell this beer is handcrafted by the full and creamy hit on the tastebuds. One of my best samples yet! BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

Aroma – Deep malt and Belgian aromas. The Yeasts and the malts where thick.
Appearance – Dark brown with a hint of red, Clear and a nice head
Flavor – This was a deep malt and great tasting Triple. I liked the flavors
Palate – Easy on the palat and dry with a hint of spices and yeast in the finish
Overall –This was one of the better Belgian Triples I have ever had.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Cloudy orange, nice foamy white head. Aroma is clean, crisp. Nicely sweet, a little bit fruity, a little bit of brown sugar. Dryish finish. Some grassy, herbal notes as it warms. Surprisingly thin body, which works here. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Pours a fairly clear light copper color with a medium, foamy off white head. Smells pretty standard for a tripel, some Belgian yeast, light citrus fruit, malt, and a little spice in there too. The flavor is much the same, although spicier than I was expecting. A lot of sweet dark malts, and a sweet fruity presence exists also. Not a bad brew, just not an exciting style, but fairly solid. EricDanger (23), USA

Nice belgian flavors that are well balanced. Crazy spices and fruits hit your nose, and it drinks smooth with a nice mouthfeel. Really masks the alcohol content well. Would buy again! papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA
