Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Bomber from Dimension Liquor.....Was really suprsied at this one. Nice belgian flavors that are well balanced. Crazy spices and fruits hit your nose, and it drinks smooth with a nice mouthfeel. Really masks the alcohol content well. Would buy again!

22 oz bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Pours a deep golden amber with a medium, fading off-white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy. Flavor start slightly sweet with over ripe fruit (peach, apricot) followed by a yeast spicy bite and a medium dry orange rind finish. Medium body is smooth and tangy with lively carbonation.

I tend to be slightly apprehensive when micros try to go belgian but lets give it a shot. The color is a little dark compared to what i’m used to in an abbey tripel with a very small head. The aroma is wonderfully rich with citrus fruits and vanilla. It’s medium to full bodied with a little less fruit in the taste than was in the aroma. The 10% alcohal isn’t masked very well but it is nicely complemented by it’s spicy nature. an all around good beer.

The aroma is a sweet citrus. Maybe a little peach, pineapple bubblegum thing going on. The head is white and creamy fully diminishing. The body is hazy and the color is a dark orange, kinda looks like a wheat. The initial flavor is a little sweet a touch bitter, not much going on in the flavors, leaves a good feel in the mouth - nice body just no flavor. The body is medium, the texture creamy and the carbonation slft.

Orange pour with no head. Spice aroma with hints of alcohol. A little to sweet for my liking. Some hints of coriander and honey. Pleasant mouth feel. Decent Triple.

Had on 5/14/2007. Aroma is a mild sweet malt scent. Color is a bright golden brown with very light carbonation and very thin head. Taste is rich and sweet. Starting with a full body it goes down with a rich feel. Finish comes on with sweet caramel malt flavor backed by only a hit of hops and a very mild bitterness. its rich and full like a Belgian should be. but it lacks that complexity and fruit yeast flavor that a true Belgian Abbey style should have. It seems more like a mild Barley Wine then a Tripel.

Bomber; probably at least 3 years old. Aroma of light stone fruit (peach), with underlying candi sugar and light spice notes. Golden amber color with a white head that flattened and ringed. Medium in body, rather creamy in carbonation. The first flavor is clove; then very light caramel; then fleshy fruits; then a taste of wet paper. The alcohol affects the head, but not the palate. Sort of goes right through to the frontal lobes. Each sip seems a bit different. Number 3 seemed to have apricot. It’s light enough to be drinkable to excess, but heavy enough to kill one. This is a really, really good brew. Seems a bit amberish for a tripel, but maybe that’s what provides the fruitiness. Incredibly smooth. The finish is slightly sweet/sticky, but clean. Death by Brother David’s Triple; could compete with death by chocolate. So why all the death comments? Died and gone to heaven? Give me this on my death bed? Hey, it’s just really impressive.
