Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

22-oz bottle purchased at Coaltrain Wine and Liquor. Pours sparkling gold with a small rocky white head, somewhat lasting, spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, bread), light hop (grass, flower), heavy yeast (dough, barnyard) with notes of banana, bubblegum and bandaids. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation and a bitter finish. Moderate sweetness, acidity and bitterness; phenolic and estery yeast flavor with biting hops.

Pours light amber with a fair off-white head. Over-ripened banana and light tropical fruit aromas, with a bit of brown sugar and yeast. Flavor is very light, a bit of sour fruitiness, a hint of alcohol upfront, some spice from the alcohol most likely, and a light musty yeast flavor throughout. Palate is medium, creamy, and dry, with a very short, somewhat alcoholic finish. As others have said, fairly poor for the style, and the flavors are a bit of a mess as light as they are. Not too bad for a quick pint though

This is not a bad tripel. The aroma seemed off on this one, almost a chmical smell but the color was a robust brown and the flavor was quite balanced and complex. The palate was perfectly balanced. Overall not too bad!

Pours amber with a frothy quickly disapearing head. It smells of alcohol, bannana and yeast. The taste is kind of a mess. Very sweet, heavy on the alcohol. The body is extremely thin, like soda.

Bottle from Mr. Pop the Cap. Had this one other time and it wasnt memorable. Pour is dark golden with thin white lace. Flavor is strong with alcohol, spices, and banana. Very sweet and alcoholic and lacking. Not the best example of the style. Poured out half the bottle.

Amber. Big golden alcohol nose. Minimal head. Rich caramel flavour and body. Little heavy for style. More of a strong belgian.

Bomber bottle, poured a pretty bronze with amber with some bubbles on top, pale malt, sweet, caramel, fruit peach and banana fragrances, faint floral aroma, medium hop bite, alcohol taste in the background, malt taste with a nice sweetness, as this warmed up the alcohol presence grew, the malt and sweet taste did not increase to balance the alcohol which is unfortunate, the alcohol taste became more medicine like as it warmed, I liked this drink when cold but then the alcohol started to over run the flavors and made this drink less enjoyable, it is not lousy just unbalanced when it got warmer, to bad to because this drink had a good start.

Pours a burnt orange color, head fades to a thin layer with a little lacing on the glass. The aroma is of green apples, citrusy, perfumy with just a hint of sweetness at the end. Taste follows the aroma with added biscuity and spice flavors. Medium bodied mouthfeel. As the beer warms the sweet malts come to the forefront.
