Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Bomber bottle, poured a pretty bronze with amber with some bubbles on top, pale malt, sweet, caramel, fruit peach and banana fragrances, faint floral aroma, medium hop bite, alcohol taste in the background, malt taste with a nice sweetness, as this warmed up the alcohol presence grew, the malt and sweet taste did not increase to balance the alcohol which is unfortunate, the alcohol taste became more medicine like as it warmed, I liked this drink when cold but then the alcohol started to over run the flavors and made this drink less enjoyable, it is not lousy just unbalanced when it got warmer, to bad to because this drink had a good start.

Pours a burnt orange color, head fades to a thin layer with a little lacing on the glass. The aroma is of green apples, citrusy, perfumy with just a hint of sweetness at the end. Taste follows the aroma with added biscuity and spice flavors. Medium bodied mouthfeel. As the beer warms the sweet malts come to the forefront.

Pours a clear cooper color with almost no head. Aroma of yeast is very present. A carmel note and a touch of fruit. Taste of banana, vanilla, sweet yeasty and a small amount of carbination.

Bomber. Poured hazy amber/orange with almost no head. Aroma of honey or caramel with alcohol, giving way to some spice, overripe bananas and maybe some hazelnut and vanilla. Bittersweet cookie malt flavor with moderate peppery spiciness. Found it somewhat bourbonlike in character actually--with oaky vanilla notes. Otherwise there is basically more of a caramel /spice profile here than a fruity profile. Not the best tripel obviously, but OK.

This is the first time that I have had to pry off a layer of wax to get at the bottle cap. Another milestone! This is not quite blond; I’d call it a pale amber, with not much head. Super-sweet and fruity aroma with blueberries, honey, and walnuts. The flavor is yeasty with pear and apple, although rather watery. Not bad, but. . .

Diappointing and not up to the standard that I expected when I purchased an Anderson Valley Abbey Tripel. Appearance and Aroma were very nice, but the taste and feel left a lot to be desired.

Lots of yeast in the nose - heavy pear on the tounge. Really sweet - almost too sweet with a medium bodied malt body. Really sharp tropical fruit flavors that are hit hard and mellow out it lingers. Really nice,

Crwills thank you for picking up at BOW and bringing. Creamy head with soap bubbles, wafting yeast aroma, lace in glass. Sweet yeasty taste, pear, peach and sugar and apple-tropical. my favorite style though this is not the prime representative of the style.
