Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Bottle. Poured a golden color with a medium fizzy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate spicy citrus and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a heavy bitter sweet alcohol finish of moderate duration. Interesting but not a standout brew.

Pours a cloudy orange with a thin head, I agree with others when they say there is little aroma from this beer, slightly spicy aftertaste, hides the alcohol well but overall a very average brew

A weak example of the tripel style. Sorry, folks, don’t bother investing money on this one if you want anything that resembles a tripel. Pour was dark in color (brownish, thought I had poured the dubel) and completely lacking any head or lacing. Boooo! The aroma was like a weak belgian strong ale, some oak, not much else to say. The flavor was similar with some pears?, although the alcohol hid fairly well. Mouthfeel was very very thin for the style. Not a bad beer, not a great example of the style.

This had vertually no head.No action in beer.Color was an orange amber. Not much aroma.Taste was medium heavy bodied.I would really like a bit of bubble action. This beer seems to have completely fermented, hence the 10 % alcohol.tatse was a bit bitter and sour.Somewhat strong unique taste .Can’t quite put a finger on it.Almost seems like a wine.It a good beer, but I will try their other ones. The commercial description says a priestess, but I see a dude on the bottle.

Draught at 42nd Street Oyster Bar in Raleigh, NC. Clear copper color. The fact that there was no head was a bit disappointing. Really, none. Pleasing alcohol and ester aroma and flavor with a spicy finish. Definite clove note that lingers. Slick and vinous. Tasty beer, but not all that pleasing to the eye.

Again with the fake wax ?! It’s clever until someone loses an eye trying to carve their way to the cap! Anyway...Poured a clear copper orange with a depressingly small but firm, white head. Aroma is fruity with bananas and citrus plus spicy belgian yeast. Flavors of sweet fruity malt and a bit of belgian spiciness but not as much as I expected. Dry, sticky finish. Palate feels a bit heavy probably due to the low carbonation. Still very smooth and an excellent drink, just doesn’t have the complexity of the best.

Bottle. Pours orange\golden with a decent sized white head. Aroma of belgian style spices, citrus, fruit, and musty yeast. Flavor is sweet, smooth, carbonated, citrus, fruity. Not bad, but i have had better tripels.
