Mostly diminishing small ivory head with very poor lacing, fine-small sized bubbles, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, hoppy, sweet nose. Very nice. Flavor was sweet, malty, caramel, and some hops. Smooth and somewhat dry mouthfeel. mikey (337), farmington, Utah, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2005 Poured a bright clear orange/copper color with a small quickly receding off white head. The nose was fruity and spicy with sweet cloves, some white grape and citrus notes as well. The taste starts sugary and yeasty with buiscuit. Green apple and white grape come in next with a spicy dryness in the end. The beer finished with warming alcohol that reminds me the beer is 10% abv. This was a little too boozey for me. This one really kicked my ass. Be warned, your first one of the night may be you last. ervan (37), Redwood City, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Aroma of white raisin, coriander, and malt, giving way to distinctive cantaloupe and banana as the beer warms. Appears amber-golden with a small cream-colored head and noticeable effervescence of medium-large bubbles. Flavor is peppery with some underlying sweetness but, in the end, dominated by spice and alcohol. Palate is medium-thin and appropriate for the style. Overall, this beer is slightly greater than the sum of its parts and not at all bad. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Updated: Aug 26, 2007Wow. I am not sure what went wrong when most of you rated this beer but my wife and I absolutely loved this one. Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this fine brew poured a cloudy bronze color with a small white head. The aroma was strong and sugary with a faintly sour tangy and fruity finish. The flavor is strong sweet candi with nice ripe fruits and a yeasty middle. the finish is tangy sugars. I found the alcohol to be rather well disguised and found an enjoyable thick mouthfeel. I will definitely be tracking down this one again. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2005 This beer pours a copper color with a thin white head and little to no soapy lacing. The aroma is alcoholic, with hints of malt, citrus and oak apparent. Without a doubt the alcohol stands out as prevalent. The flavor is abrasive at its best with a citrusy tang and stickyness apparent throughout. Medium bodied with a heavy syrupy citrusy tang and a hint of spice. Probably the worst atribute of this beer is the finish which is dry, overly tangy and citrusy with heavy aceticness. Absolutely no balance here and little usage of malts. Carbonation levels are light. I aged this for nearly 8 months and that did about nothing...this needs to be aged further. This tastes like a cinnamon biscotti....thats about the nicest compliment you’ll get from me about this beer.
