Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Pretty nice looking hazy orange with a disappearing head on top. The aroma is a pretty yeasty, malty, spicy one, but it seems a bit forced. Its complex, but too apparent. Flavor comes through a little better, its spicy and sweet, like a good late evening drink.

(22oz bottle) Campled at DumDum’s Belgian Sendoff on August 25, 2005. A very strange rubbery wax-job on the neck. Pours a large, white, frothy head with a clear orange body and tiny bubbles. Nose is very marshmellow and whiskey. Fruity flavour, acidic, rose water and iodine.

Bomber, copy color with lots of bubbles and an off head. I smelled banana and clove and, LOTS of yeast. The taste was sweet with a lot of spice. The tongue felt the alcohol, and the bubbles, Good brew.

Clear copper in color with a bubbly rung skirting around the edges. Banana and clove aroma, sweet honey and vanilla syrup, almost too sweet to sniff but definitely provocative. Sweet and forceful flavor, receding into a strange palate stamp. Starch, coriander and a score of maple cinnamon crumble topping take this one as far as it can possibly go. Carbonation isn’t just lacking - it’s obsolete. A half-assed take on the style, as if we needed another. Thanks to 1FastSTi for sharing.

I brought this beer to the tasting because I didn’t want to drink it all myself. It pours to a golden body with a thin white head. The aroma is Belgian but light. The flavor is nicely spicy, yeasts, malts. The palate is medium bodied and so-so.

light brown pour w/ a small tan head. Smells of belgian yeast and orange rind. Palate is carbonated smooth and creamy. Flavor is fairly typical sweet belgian. Overall a solid brew shared by ???

Pours a hazy orange, smells of fruits, banana and possibly orange. The taste was strong and rich with alcohol with fruity hints. It was nice going down and warmed me up.

22oz - Aroma is sharp with yeast, candi sugar, and spice. Pours a cloudy copper with some tiny bubbles, a small head and decent lacing. Flavor is also a bit sharp. The sweet yeasty taste is quickly overrun by the spicyness. I wonder if it would have mellowed with age? Leaves a tingle on the tounge. Not bad, but could use a little time to blend the flavors together.
