Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

22oz - Aroma is sharp with yeast, candi sugar, and spice. Pours a cloudy copper with some tiny bubbles, a small head and decent lacing. Flavor is also a bit sharp. The sweet yeasty taste is quickly overrun by the spicyness. I wonder if it would have mellowed with age? Leaves a tingle on the tounge. Not bad, but could use a little time to blend the flavors together.

Vanilla bean and spice nose - very nice aroma, although not real strong. Golden body with big head and good lacing. Taste is mostly sweet, some dry spices towards the end, then a long sweet sticky finish (maybe almost cloying?). Worth trying, but not my favorite triple. Found this at Circle Liquors in Trenton NJ

Clear bronze color with thin white head. Very tight active carbonation. Aroma is a very strong yeast with a hint of a clove character. Not very diverse. Yeasty falvor, tangy and sharp fruityness. Fairly full feel and finish, nice round and sweet malts present. Decent strength and presence. Fairly nice flavor profile rescues what started as a one sided yeast based aroma.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is primarily of alcohol, but also has some spicy notes. The flavor is very sweet - and very simple - it is of alcohol and coriander, that gives it a dry burning end. Too simple for me - maybe a couple of years of cellaring would do it good?

On tap at the Toronado. Clear dark copper colour with thin light beige head. Strong carmel malt nose. Strong carmel malt taste with warming alcohol finish.

Copper color with not much head. Huge alcohol aroma. Fruity alcohol taste that was reminiscent of peaches.

Pours deep copper with aroma of floral spices, yeasty esters, and some vinous hops. Tastes bready malty, fruity, hoppy, candi sugary, citrusy. The finish gets a bit cloying, and the balance could use some work, but this one isn’t bad.

Pretty! Like a cat’s eye stone! Smells goooooood. Tastes like summer nights on a wraparound porch!
