Commercial Description:
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Pours with a light white head. Color is an amberish-orange. The alcohol is there, for sure. Malty, and yeasty, with a few notes of citrus. Overall, a thumbs up, but not overwelmingly so.

Pours solid copper colored with no head. WTF? The first "belgian" I poured that didn’t foam me to death, as we all know is so "kool"! Sweet, sugary aroma of beer with more sugar than anything. The flavr is thiCk, malty, syrupy, and very sweet. No alcohl taste, but is does burn where you don’t want it to on the finish.

Powerful Belgian style brew with fruit and maltiness. A little overpowering and hot on the finish.

Bottle courtesy of Pflug. Dark orange coloring. Sharp scents. Tastes of big sweetbread. Large sweetness floats on top. Finishes with some tart but is overall good.

Pours light coppery (think iced tea) from the 22oz. bottle: Some mellow fruityness and light pastry crust tones in the nose. Sweet flavors such as brown sugar, which is a little expected, but what I wasn’t expecting was the absence of spices that usually accompany a triple. Full bodied and mellow carbonation. The alcohol is hidden well, but woah I do feel it. Drinkability: Pretty good. Usual triple. Rebuy: Sure. #199 (Yay!) on 14112009, DG.

Yeasty aroma of banana, plum... Alcohol is detectable in the nose but not harsh or unpleasant... Pretty straightforward, no hop character, candy sugar sweet... Faint brown sugar flavor... Carbonated mouthfeel, well-attenuated, not malty or slick, remarkably dry...

The look is copper in color, foamy off white head that quickly disappates. Clear. The smell is alcohol, sugar, banana, slight spices. The taste is the same as the smell.
