Very wheaty aroma with a little maltiness to it. Taste started malty and wheaty and ended with a nice balanced citrus hop bitterness. Very smooth and drinkable brew. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2004 This was a pretty boring beer. Its a yellow color with little head. Some citrus, wheat, and cloves in the flavor. Overall this was a weak effort but American Wheats are difficult to make above average. So why even attempt to brew them? | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2004 Lightly hazy blond with light head & lacing. The aroma is musky with wheat but a good citrusy hop base & some yeast. The flavor is musky & a bit bland, lightly tart with some hops & sweet notes. Finishes balanced, a bit citrusy and complex, not too bad. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2004 22oz bottle. Golden yellow color, decent sized head, sweet fruit malty aroma. Taste is fruity, apple and citrus are suggested, body is light but not watery, finish is clean. A refreshing brew to enjoy as appropriate, not real complex but nicely done and better than most of this style. 5000 (2634), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2004 Bottle pours a slightly hazy straw color, small milkish like head, so-so lacing, with little carbonation.   Slight peppery/floral aroma on the nose, along with some citrus and that typical sulfery/farty American Wheat ale characteristics.   Slightly floral up front, small amounts of hops, but it is very very light.   I recall this beer has having a fuller body, but this one is way way too ligt.   Finishes on a downside, really lacking in any complexity or body.   Doubt Id be having this again.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2004 Slightly cloudy orange color. The aroma had a fruit hint and some spice. I seemed to smell some orange. The taste begins quite sweet with some hints of honey and a lasting malt sweetness. There is a bit of sourness that hangs around and seems to mask any hops that may appear. The feel seems a little to light for a wheat beer.
