bomber from BevMo in san deigo. pours a light hazy yellow. bright white medium sized head that sticks. hmm... not a typical wheat. I taste tea. a beer to bring to the party if you don’t know whether people drink good stuff or bud light. light, tasty and drinkable, but not great. K-7

I didn’t realize this was a summer beer when I purchased it from BevMo in Sacramento (Arden Way). So, with that said, this beer is about 6 months old. I think a rating is justifiable, seeing wheat beers typical do not rely on a ton of hops. Initial aroma is lemony, citrus with some spices and a little bit of banana ester aromas. Perhaps a little funk, but this smells quite good. Very mildly hazy golden body with a large, pillowy white head and great lacing present. A little spicy to start, which is then followed by light lemons in the middle. A fair amount of cereal-like maltiness. Chewy. Finishes with some light hop bitterness that is a bit spicy and earthy. Smooth, not overly carbonated.

I actually really enjoyed this Wheat. Cloudy yellow golden in color. I really liked this easy-to-drink brew. Refreshing and surprisingly yummy for a wheat. I’d like to try again.

Poutd s hazy blonde color with a medium white head. The aroma and flavor is all about the yeast, bubble-gum and fruity esters. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and strong carbonation.

Hazy yellow golden color with a puffy big white head. Smell is lemon, yeast, and wheat. Taste is lemony, light, refreshing, yet full bodied for a wheat, and a nicely carbonated beer for summer. Good bite to it. Nice mild wheat in the finish. Decent amount of flavor for the style, and ne of the nicer American wheats I’ve had.

What a find. Lots of wheat malt packed into the bottle. Smooth and silky with a defined floral essence. A defined banana-wheat malt themed drink with an underlying bubblegum finish. Slight tang upfront with a slight lemon essence throughout. Higher carbonation than most which adds a little zip. Impressive drink for being a bottled wheat ale. This has a great, rich wheat malt presence. Better than most that I have tried.

Bomber. Clear golden color with foamy white head that disappears quickly. Nose was nothing impressive, but taste was clean, crisp, refreshing and with a touch of wheat and flowers.

Lavender and floral notes to the clean but unexciting aroma. Clear golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a lasting cover. Mild wheat flavour with plenty of floral character. Light body with strong carbonation. Bottle sampled with Altair, beerbuzzmontreal, Cathschlag, Glouglouburp, Goldorak, MartinT, muzzlehatch and Yowie.
