Commercial Description:
Its dazzling head, delicate tangy taste, and crisp clean finish make it a summer favorite which can be enjoyed alone or with a twist of lemon.

A very nice American pale wheat, with purposeful understated hops and orange citrus taste. This went well with a long leisurly summer record heat lunch, light colour still significant head and citrus hoppy aroma.

Bottle from Bello Vino. Poured hazy yellow with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced good lacing. Moderate sweet wheat and spice aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet citrus and spicy flavor with a smooth light sweet finish of short duration. My expectations where met.

My Bottom Line:
This simple American Wheat ale offers a few fruity esters (plantanes?) and floral hops to slide along the delicate wheaty tartness, all in a frothy vehicle made for quenching.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam relaxes atop the clear pale blond.
-Carbonation is frothy and somewhat eases drinkability.
-The back end is rather dry, while citrusy and floral hops decorate.

Bottle.

Something of a floral, noble hop aroma. Amber tinged gold color with a respectable white head. Thin to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Dusty wheat for start, along with a very slight bit of lemon. Finish is sort of wheat, tartness and enough bitter to work it out. Overall it’s a very light and clean beer.

Sampled from 22 oz bottle in Montreal on Glouglouburp’s roof at the tiggmtl-returns/MartinT leaves for Japan party, June 17 2007. A bit of white fluffy head doesn’t last atop the pale gold, translucent body....the nose, floral and perfumy, pleasant enough but instantly forgettable, little wheat tartness here....mild, somewhat bland, buttery flavor, smooth and easy-drinking but pretty much without any memorable character, very light fruity esters and a hint of drying tartness towards the finish....fair carbonation, light, dull.

Slightly cloudy golden-yellow body without much head. Aroma of a banana dessert of some kind. Soft and silky body. Taste is smooth and full of wheat with bananas and lemon flavours. Effective and refreshing light wheat beer but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall this is a beer that plays it safe, which ironically is exactly what a high roller doesn’t do.
