beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Oct 28, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 2007 Bistro Wet Hop IPA Festival. This IPA poured a cloudy orange gold color. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and floral. There is a herbal flavor to this beer that is kind of strange. Kind of mild tasting and feeling. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Davecooks (1150), Bay Area, California, USA Oct 26, 2007 Draft at The Bistro Wet Hop festival. My notes say this beer is called "Hop Fresca". Murky and almost wit beer in appearance. Vegetal hop aroma. Very thin bodied with a vegative hop and slight malt flavor. DA (2468), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Oct 22, 2007 On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours cloudy orange with a soft off-white head that leaves solid lacing behind. Citrus and pine hop nose. The wet hops don’t show through in the nose, but the flavor has a good green hop finish. Slightly sweet hop character shows through the grapefruity bitterness. I find that most of the fresh hop beers have a bit to much bitterness that covers up the fresh hop taste though.
