Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

This beer is a hazy amber color. It has a very light floral aroma. The flavor is surprisingly sweet yet hoppy.

Pours a golden amber with white-off white head. Heavy floral aromas with some citrus notes. Flavors are of grapefruit-orange with a piney floral hop. Sweet malt pops up in the background. Overall, very hoppy and crisp beer for the summer!

This is a very good entry into the IPA category. Color is amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma is balanced between floral hops and honey. Flavors of orange zest and honey recede as the pronounced spicy/peppery backbone and bitter finish ensue. Overall an excellence IPA that I would love to try on tap.

Ok. I am confused. They’ve got a bear with antlers on the label, what looks to be a moose farther off in the background, a biting rattlesnake in the description and the "Ottin’" reminds me of a lazy southern slang for an Otter. Like "Skrimps." Well, this IPA confused me a bit consumption wise. Bad? No. Is good. Very good. Nice roasted malt color with a heavy aroma of floral hops, malted candies and some pine. Taste is not what I had expected. I usually punch through an IPA with candied hopes, cascadian freshness, pine-like-Christmas goodness, and overall typical pleasure. Well, this thing balances out both hops and malts into an interesting combination. Bother are defined, yet subtle. It’s real decent. Caramel notes bounce back and forth playfully while the hops take a more refined toned and carry about their daily chores. Some citrus aftertaste and a dash of pepper and is all good. neat, and enjoyable. but I would not stock it on rotation as I need more of a bite after a long day at work dealing with a bunch of feckin wankers.

Copper pour with a thick off white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hop over caramel, light maple syrup tones? flavour is strong caramel, sweet and burnt.(perhaps a touch too much of a burnt sugar presence for me) Piney and light floral hoppiness. Good lingering bitterness. Solid ipa.

22 oz. Pours a dark amber with medium sized head. Aroma is citrus hops . Some light floral in there, but not too much. Taste is citrus, pine. backed by a slightly sweet malt backbone. Nice and balanced. Nothing over the top.

Bomber. Pours clear orange with a medium sized cream-froth head. Aroma is of mandarin orange, lemon zest and soap. Flavor has a beautiful balance of citrusy hops and a light pale malt presence. I really liked the way the body was allowed to remain light and spritzy, and the hops so unremittingly emphasized. Finish is firmly bitter, hinting at grapefruit. Delicious!

A very tasty IPA. Nice balance and extremely flavorful. Not too spicy or floral and certainly not too malty. Pours golden brown with a touch of yeast.
