Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Bomber served in a snifter. Big head on a polished copper body. Big floral and pine aroma. A touch of malt as well. Medium body, little carbonation, and a creamy, sticky mouthfeel. Plenty of lace after a smooth, bittering swig. This is good stuff. An everyday IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma largely of caramel malt with some light citrusy hops. Flavor is malt-forward with definite harshness and astringency. Pretty bland overall...I’m not sure what people see in this (and I’m a hop lover!) 7/4/7/3/14 (3.5/5)

Bottle, 12 oz. Aroma of grapefruit, maybe some pine, minty notes, rich caramel malt. Flavor again popping grapefruit hops supported by basic but rich caramel malt. Does have a level of astringency, which lingers on the tongue. Pretty good overall though.

Poured from 22oz bomber into dimpled mug: Aroma - Malty aroma at first, followed by grass and pine. Appearance - Dark golden amber in color; clear with thin off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving nice lacing. Flavor - Big golden malt flavor followed by piney hops. Some faint notes of citrus. Aftertaste of pine. Palate - Medium mouthfeel. A bit slick. Not a lot of carbonation. Long on the finish. Overall - At 7% ABV this big bottle is enough for me. This is definitely a well crafted ale. Worth a try for anyone that’s into IPA’s.

[Bottle] Pours amber with a very nice off-white head. Aroma is honey and papaya. Taste is big and hoppy with a lot of citrus--mostly grapefruit and orange, honey again, some alcohol, a good deal of bitterness, and then finishing up with great maltiness. Good mouthfeel, quite smooth, has a slightly above average length semi-dry finish. Overall this was a very, very nice IPA that was exceedingly drinkable.

12oz bottle courtesy of screach. Pours a generally clear dark amber to copper color with a one finger foamy white head that settles slowly. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, pine, grapefruit, hon ey, caramel, spice, herbs, some subtle maltier notes. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of fresh flowers, grass, herbs, some citrus/grapefruit/floral hops notes. Some earthy and grassy notes as well. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing malty and floral hoppy finish.
