Mini growler at Half-Time. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Light lacing. Light citrus hop aroma with some sweet honeyed malt notes. Mouthfeel is about medium. Floral citrus hops explode in the mouth to start off a long bracingly bitter finish with gentle malt undertones.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Pours a nice copper with a white head. Huge citrus and floral hop aroma. Citrusy hops dominate the taste, and it has quite a bite. I would have liked a little better balance, but I enjoyed this IPA. nickd717 (1348), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Solid IPA but not a standout. The usual pine/citrus hoppiness, good flavor although I would have liked them to up the intensity a little bit. Guess they cannot all be as intense as Stone Ruination or the like. Good but not great for the style. ghawener (960), San Salvador, El Salvador

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Pours an orangey hue with a puffy white head. Huge pine aroma with some caramel towards the back. Flavor goes from sweet to an intense hop rush and then back to sweeter at the end. Very tasty IPA, another winner from AV. fidelis83 (720), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2008 Pours dark amber-copper with a 2 finger light tan head that has great retention. Aroma is heavy on pine hops, a little floral and a good amount of caramel malts thrown in to back it up. Flavor starts with caramel malt, a little toffee and and odd creamy vanilla right in the middle. The finish is nice and crisp grapefruit bitterness, bitter hops, grass, and some musty wet clay. All around a solid IPA. I just finished a Goose Island Bourbon County Stout so I may have to re-rate this if the massive stout threw my senses off. MOboy (446), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Grass, citrus rind and biscuity malt to balance it out. Despite the abv this beer finishes nice and dry. Damn fine ale. 6/4/7/4/16
