Color is a surprisingly clear orange with lots of carbonation. Nice head, good lacing. Flavor is mostly hops, and some sweet malts. Mouthfeel is also solid, and it leaves a nice coating that you can taste afterwards. 7% is well hidden and it’s a solid brew. drjay44 (808), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 22, 2008 12 oz. bottle. From the commercial discription I was expecting a "west coast" style of IPA. Pours a thick creamy head with nice lacing developing as the glass was drained, color golden cloudy orange....nose of mild floral hops with some resinous overtones, not as powerful as anticipated....mouth feel good....tastes of sweet, almost honey like malts, then hops come in, not as heavily as expected. This bottle was more typical of an English style IPA, pleasant, nicely balanced. SSSteve (2090), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Served in shaker- poured transparent dark amber/copper, off white head tow fingers in size formed and laced nicely. Bountiful aroma of floral and pine hops. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt is very delightful, some notes of sweetness in the middle, finish has acidic and nice hop feel. Well made. KimJohansen (7132), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Clear amber with large beige head. Sweet aroma with grapefruit, pine and hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with pine, caramel, citric and hoppey notes. Ends bitter. Soonah (970), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Pour was amber and clear with a decent head that produced some good lacing. The aroma was pine and floral hops cut with light malt. The flavor was dominated by pine hops. Some light sweetness from the malt showed up but was kicked in the teeth by the sharp pine hoppiness. Out of balance but not a bad IPA. The mouthfeel was on the thin side and the finish was clean. Oscbert (549), Sacramento, California, USA

~Nice sweet hoppy aroma. Some berry scent as well. Very nice aroma.
~Kind of a harsh bitter taste. Good but needs more malts for balance. Gets beter as taste buds adjust to the intial bitter shock.
~Medium creamy feel. Almost a thick feel.
~With the first scent, this beer seemed promising. I was excited, but then i tasted it. Taste definetly lacked compared to the scent. slimchill (781), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Bottle. Lightly flora citrus hop nose, slightly metallic. Clear amber-gold with a patchy head. Engulfing bitterness with low hop flavor. Light orange peel. Harsh, but somewhat drinkable. An uninspired and seemingly overrated IPA.
