Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Slightly sweet, mild hoppy nose. Deep amber/copper color, pillowy head. Solid caramel maltiness, good bitterness, finishes with some tart apple notes. Well carbonated, really a nice IPA.

Cloudy orange color with a sizable slightly off-white head, which sticks around in some form or other for quite a while. Aroma is first heavy in hops, then a little in fruits and flowers. Taste is pretty hoppy with a tasty bite to it. Pretty darn bitter, but other flavors appear if you take a moment to take notice of them.

Pineapple, walnut, caramel aroma in equal proportions. Clear amber thick billowy cream white head. More bitter than expected. Tastes of orange peel and dirt. Almond nougat on the palate. Medium body, slightly resinous mouthfeel, excellent lacing.

Bottle. Battery acid copper color. No head. slow moving light carbonation. hoppy, malty blend. Sugary and honey combo. Toffee-like in spots. Watery-thin and very disappointing flavoring and body. Tart and spoiled orange juice-like aftertaste. Boo.

Hazy dark orange color with a beige head that leaves some scattered lacing. Aroma is piney with some grainy sweetness. Flavor is pretty typical west coast IPA. Lots of pine with a dose of citrus on top of a caramel malt backbone. Great carbonation, fairly dry on the palate, easy to drink.

Copper with big, foamy tan head / Grapefruit, burnt sugar & herbasceous nose / Medium body with sweet malts and sharp hops, and with creamy, long, bitter finish / Flavors of burnt sugar, pine, grapefruit, and orange / Outstanding.

Pours a clear orange/amber with a nice head of medium bubbles. The head quickly dissipates to a smaller ring that remains. Aromas of hops, and florists. Flavor is sharp. Honey and sweet malt quickly give way to the bomb of hops. The only real drawback to this beer is a slightly watery mouth feel, and that’s being picky. Could easily have been a 4.0 on a better day. Great shite!

Amber colored, moderate to large head, good lacing and retention. Grapefruit, citrus aroma. Some caramel backing. Medium bodied, moderate to high bitterness. Enjoyable but I’ve had a billion others just like it. Blows the IIPA away though.
