Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Amber colored, moderate to large head, good lacing and retention. Grapefruit, citrus aroma. Some caramel backing. Medium bodied, moderate to high bitterness. Enjoyable but I’ve had a billion others just like it. Blows the IIPA away though.

Tap... Poured a clear, dark amber with a thick white head. Hops and malt on the nose. Foamy texture with flavors of leafy herbs and hops with a caramel malt balance. Standard IPA, nothing to make it offensive, but nothing to make it standout.

Bottle. Pours a light bronze with a decent white head. The aroma is pine and floral hops. The taste is mostly a strong pine and spicy hops. Kinda sweet with some bitterness in the finish. Not bad at all. Just not as complex as others. But quite good anyway.

Pours orange, with a small, white head. Aroma is hops, citrus and pine. Also some caramel and hops. Flavor is bitter hops, malt, caramel, and a bit of fruit. Nice.

A nice complex IPA. Citrusy, piney hops up front, with a moderately bitter hops finish. It took me a few sips to really home in one the malts, but they are definitely there. This is not your average IPA, and definitely has its own unique "personality".

Pours a deeper shade of amber with decent one finger head and intense lacing. Nose is pleasantly enticing, with citrus hops balanced nicely with pastry-sweet malts. A slight metallic tinge on the palate is quickly swept away by rich berries, orange juice, and a pleasant mild funky hop finish. Another solid release from this intriguing brewery.

Bottle pours a deeper amber with a nice one inch head that laces nicely. The aroma is floral and malty caramel. The flavor is of sweet malt under a very nicely done hop shows some really good citrus and fresh character. The palate is fairly rich and it all hides the 7% pretty well. This is good.

12oz bottle thanks to Double D. Floral aroma with hints of pine. Light orange/amber with slowly disappearing 1+ inch head and quality lacing. Bitter hoppy finish, not too bad. Aftertaste maybe a little too bitter for my liking. Some sweetness and malty apparent.
