Hits the palate hard in the beginning, but smooths out towards the end. Great citrus taste, that starts out bitter, but ends sweet brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2008 My IPA of choice last night - didnt let me down. Maybe a little too sweet up front, but it turns around and finishes nice and dry. Usually like my IPA’s out of a bottle so maybe the tap smoothed it out. 7% seems to be a good place for ABV, gives it some kick without being noticeable. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Poured from the bottle to a hazy golden orange with thin white head that lingered well and left okay lacing. Aroma was a very pleasant hoppy citrus, and mouthfeel of this full-bodied beer was tangy and biting. Flavor was more of the hoppy citrus fruit at first, but the 7% abv and a touch of sweet malt entered in at mid-glass. This all led to a pleasant finish of medium duration that was nice and bitter, yet subtly sweet. Sparky27 (1641), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2008 12oz bottle. First time I’ve had this beer. Pours a light orange color with a small white head. Aroma is fresh hops, nice hop bite, but also has a malty mouth feel and a bitter aftertaste. Decent lacing. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I added this to my mix and match 6 pack. unrulythings (73), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Fresh rusty orange color beneth a respectable off white head. Strong floral aroma, lots of piney hops, and resin in the nose. Medium bodied with a thick, chewy texture. Finishes somewhat bitter and "soapy". mwelsh13 (484), Maryland, USA

Nice bitterness up front with grapefruit and floral notes. Malt does not match up with hops. Good IPA though.
