Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Tastes of sweet citrus hops and honey. Floral aroma. Well hopped brew. This is my favorite beer from anderson valley. Good session beer.

Smells citrusy and hopsy. Good head retention. Grapefruit taste throughout, hopsy but not to strong. I faintly detect a sweetness but very faint. Good.

Orange pour with a decent white head. Big floral hoppy nose. Citrusy hops up front with a milder malt back. Sweeter than expected, and rich with hop character. Excellent.

Pours copper/amber and slightly hazy with a thin white head. Smells of pepper, tea, some citrus and some meadow like qualities. Tastes of dry malt, biscuits and pronounced pepper/spice from the hops. Nice.

Big hop aroma with some caramel/malt. More malty than I care for in an IPA with a solid smooth mouth feel.

Reddish blond, with a thin foamy head. Smells of berries, blueberries and raspberries, as well as hops. Maybe a hint of pine. Hoppy flavor, but not overpowering. There is a citrusy flavor under all those hops; blood orange I think. Rather smooth. Palate is just about perfect for style.
