Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

This copper ale poured with a short off-white head. It is hoppier than I would prefer in an IPA, but the flavor is nicely complex.

This is my second favorite IPA -- next to The White Knuckle by Marin Brewing. What else can I say, totally unique flavor, wicked cool "beer" on the label, solar powered brewery.

poured a golden-orange color, hazy with a weak white head that quickley disappeared. Aroma is what made it for me with a strong inhale of pine, hops and maybe some grapefruit. A florally taste with a sharp lasting bitter finish, this was a solid IPA.

Pours a hazy copper color. Hoppy, pine, resin, aroma which hints at the dryness of this brew. This is a solid IPA, but it’s characteristics differ from my favorites. I’ll pick up a 6 of this once in a while, though.

Bottle. Pours copper with a huge, two-finger beige head. Aroma is beautiful hops - juniper, pine and fragrant flower pollen. with notes of roasted malt. Flavor sweaty yeast, earthy blissfully bitter hops and some lightly sweet and fruit caramel malt. Finish has lots of resinous hop bitterness which lingers on forever. Extremely full palate. Beautiful... just beautiful. This is the epitome of a N. Cali IPA.

Bottle. Earthy hoppy aroma. A bitter finish with heavy hop body. A great taste with a nice aroma.

22 oz. bottle - a great example of an IPA that is all looks and aromas, but almost no flavor; another disappointing brew from AVBC

Soft, well balanced IPA. I always look for crazy hopped IPAs but this is nice and very enjoyable.
