| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2007 Pours a hazy amber color with a decent, inch high tight white head. There was a thin trace of lacing. The scent was of hops, light citrus, grapefruit, spice and some earthy tones. The taste was very hoppy and bitter with a long bitter finish. There is a bit of a soapy afterbite. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 10, 2007 Updated: Jun 16, 2008Bottle. Pours slightly murky dark amber / orange with a moderate off-white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, with malt backing and some floral hops. Flavor is sharply hoppy and bitter with considerable malt backing and lots of resin and grapefruit, gaining a bit more malt towards the middle, and a long, kind of earthily bitter finish. Very good. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Big foamy off white head over a murky orange amber beer. Nose of orange peel and cereal grains. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel with honey, buscuity malts, and lots of hops. The finish has sharp resin, pine, and old orange zest notes. I’ve had this beer many times over many years, and I always find it just an okay beer. Tejas (704), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Not much aroma or flavor at first. OK, I get it now. This needs to warm up a bit. Lots of flowery hoppy flavor. OK malty backbone too. Solid IPA. Would be especially good in a bomber or on draught.
