Smell is hoppy. Some grassy, some piney, some funky. Taste is crisp and refreshing. A good IPA.

Jun 1, 2007 Rated 12/28/06: Another good offering from Anderson Valley. Nice IPA, very well rounded. Aroma is very floral with a little citrus worked in. Thick copper color, very nice medium sized head. Incredibly smooth, the bitterness from the hops soon fades. Good taste, the hops are immediately upfront then soon mellow out. Could use a touch more malt, but I am still impressed with the nice balance of this IPA. Good choice.

May 25, 2007 Pours amber in color with a nice, lasting head. The hops are clearly there, with plenty of bitterness, but also lovely sweetness. Sweet citrus, pine, and perfume sit atop creamy malt.

May 16, 2007 A pretty underrated IPA in my opinion - especially considering the price for the sixer. Not bad, not bad at all...a very crisp, thirst quenching, floral IPA - i enjoyed this much more than I thought I would... but it still isn’t a beer to go braggin about

May 14, 2007 Nice surprise! Definitely a floral aroma. A rather "smooth" bitterness and extremely drinkable. The hops are extraordinary. This is in the class of Two-Hearted Ale - not quite as harsh. A little expensive - but well worth it. I will definitelly buy this again,and again and again. Great Brew.

May 14, 2007 Bottle - Had this last night for first time in years. Fantastic Rust/Amber color. Wonderful floral, slightly piney nose. The palate expodes with grapefruit. I love it. This is the beer that showed me that I am a hop-head. I thank thee.
