Commercial Description:
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Bottle. Strong grapefruit, pineapple, lychee, and resin aroma, bittersweet and heavy. Clear orange with a foamy and fizzly tan head. Nice bready bitterness with grapefruit and resin, honey, lots of hops here. Medium body just doesn’t have a lot of oomph; dry hoppy aftertaste. Soft and warming. Really not sure how I feel about this guy; if I were in a different mood, it could conceivably score a a 3.9 or 4.0. Not a bad choice for a hops fix.

Poured picture perfect- Most notable is the longevity of the body. Lots of carbonation, but its not mouth shocking. Taste is smoother than the aroma and just as flavorful. Great balance in this delicious smelling and tasting quality brew. Nice work AVBC-

12oz bottle. i have no idea how fresh this is. pours a golden color with nice fluffy head. aroma is weak mild pnw hops that seem stale possibly some cat piss in there. the aroma leads me to believe this beer maybe old. flavor also has weak hop presence mild bitterness. the get some points for being balanced and easy to drink. i’ll have to rerate cuz i bought this as a single in an unfamilar store so i’m guessing this is past it’s prime.

Cloudy amber color with small head. Earthy floral aroma. Flavor was big on hops -- ranging from citrus to bitter, with a mild caramel and malt in the background. Very nice IPA.

I don’t catch much in aroma or taste besides hop bitterness---which is very well done and lingering. Clear amber color.

22oz bomber from my SS. Thanks. Can’t believe I have not rated this as this used to be one my staple 6 pacls. Incredibly pungent floral hop aroma. Flavor is equally hoppy, a little bit of honey, and a dry bitter palate. A well done hop-heavy ipa. Remembering why I liked this so much, not as tangy as stone or alesmith , but very nice in its own manner.
