It has the right alcohol content for this style. It is very refreshing, not too bitter, not too sweet, just right. I strive to brew a batch this hoppy. Hop Ottin is the best! knickerbocker (13), USA

That said this is above average as a fine example of California Art of the Brewery. mookie (43), Tacoland, Texas, USA

Sadly, we are unable to get this beer in MN any more...but it is definitely worth a trip to WS to stock up!! MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA

Unfortunately, every once in a while the local distributer doesn’t have it. Never found another IPA quite as good. neilvis99 (3), USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Apr 26, 2000 mikey (336), farmington, Utah, USA

The nose was hoppy; consisting of pine needles, spruce, citrusy lemon zest, grapefruit meat and a hint of wild flowers. Beneath the hops, the malt was caramely sweet with some pleasant toastiness as well. Very nice! The taste had plenty of good things going for it as well. Hop bitterness is fairly strong and raw. The hops really shine with pine needles, spruce, grapefruit rinds, and a healthy dose of wild flowers, especially in the finish. Beneth was a stong malty backbone that created a perfect balance as it warmed. Nicely consistant from start to finish. This is a work of art. Diego (79), San Diego, California, USA

I thought Acme was my fav but as I continue to expand on my brews I am always pleasantly surprised. Great head that sticks around until the chubby lady has her thang with us, beautiful fragrance and color. Lovely bouquet. Flavor...Oh mama, this IPA is so full of hops that you want to lick the wall to wipe it off of your tongue. I loved it and will get some more as soon as I’m done with this six. Great brew!!!!
