So this is on tap at Brouwers called Mendo Mello Estate Fresh Hop which sounds like it is this one even though there is a listing for Mendo Estate. Whatever, someone fucked up an addition of beers I would assume. Thriller is a bad ass song and a great video, and Michael Jackson(singer) was awesome when he was black. Anyways, leafy aroma, light citrus, and some grainy malts. Smells like an apa. Hazy light gold, thin head, really great lace. Medium leafy bitterness followed by pleasant citrus notes, bready grain, and fresh chewy hop flavors. Light bodied, very earthy and leafy. Sharp carbonation, light bodied. It is what it is.

Pours clear yellow-gold with a short-lived head. Aroma of peaches and sourdough. Strawberry/kiwi hop flavor. Very herbal and, well, mellow.

Tap @ O’Brien’s. Pours a lightly hazed golden color with a fain orange glow. Light hop nose with some peaches and other tree fruits. Brew was slightly sweeter than your average IPA.

On tap at O’Briens. Clear and light amber in color. Aroma was very light. Sweet malt/bread and fruit. Flavor was surprisingly hoppy, given the aroma. Earthy, grassy and bready. Just wasn’t all that tasty.

1st rating. Tap @ O’brien’s during the wet hop fest 08, my last beer of the night. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is light and sweet with a hoppyness. Taste is sweet with citrus and is mellow as the name suggests.
