Pours orange/amber/brown with a good amount of off white head. Nose is orange piney hops. Flavor is a kind of odd mix of bitter, orange-ish citrus, and hops. I can’t say it seems really balanced. Full bodied, sure. But balanced? No. Too much bite. Feel is kind of thick and doughy. Nice enough carbonation. Overall, the odd flavor profile here kind of drops the drinkability in my opinion. I mean, hey, there’s no balance here where there should be. Ya know? Just seems to be lacking.

Bottle. Golden body, big rocky white head, citrus and yeast (!) in the nose. Metallic notes at the start, honey, moderate bitterness, perhaps some citrus in the finish.

Bitter burst of citrus and honey initially, then settling to an utterly forgettable McPaleAle.

From bottle, August 16th, 2008 - Pours bright golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is sweet citrus, white wine, caramel, crystal malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly resinous with moderate carbonation. A mild APA, but still enjoyable.
From can, October 2009 - Pours lightly hazy and golden with a mostly receding white head. Soapy hop notes, light cracker, dough and pale malt. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Smells mildly of hops. Pale gold color, bubbly white head. Has some good malt sweetness and moderate hops but it tastes mostly watered down. Really easy to drink but it honestly is one of the most watered down pales I’ve had. Not a winner.

12oz bottle-pours an off white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is somewhat bitter citrus hops, secondary/faint medium malt-biscuity. Taste is somewhat bitter citrus hops, secondary/faint medium malt-biscuity, nicely balanced. A bit over carbonated, which is rare for me. Thanks Wasatch.

Pours a clear gold with white head. Grain, hops, citrus, and a bit of sweet caramel malt. Easy to drink beer, but quite uninteresting.
